And if you are tbed, then you lose them either way. That would be true if more people tbed while black chin pking. Most who do it are either bad pkers who don’t, or just trolls.

I’m an ironman going for 83 hunter so I can get a glory in the first place, so imp boxes are my friend. I seriously don’t know. I’m level and I’ve never been able to make more than k an hour doing this. So even without a looting bag, it takes ages to get a full inventory due to all the world hopping, and for every full inventory I can get to the bank with I get killed with four.

If this is something you will be doing long-term for money, then sure. I tried it at 3 amalways pkers. I just want some quick cash but every world I hop onto someone show up within 30 seconds, is lava dragons not a viable money making method? The hardest part is leaving as the lava dragons will hit you on your way out so if a PKer logs in you won’t be able to log out as you’re makung combat but if you get away you’ll have made plenty of money but if you do die you’ll only have wasted some runes on osrrs trident and if you’re burying the bones which you should unless you’re limiting your prayer or really want more money you’ll still have gained some xp. Keep a close eye on your minimap. Only took me about kills and I made probably a few mills. Edit: making money like lava dragons osrs reddit dislikes due to admitting to my plans of playing on 2 account, if the pkers wanna be unfair by pking someone 30 lvls under I will give them a taste of their own medicine reddig. Now, I understand Runescape is going for the EVE approach to PKing rather than most other MMO’s, where osre not about fighting players mlney the best gear, but more about killing defenseless people. But there has to be a tradeoff. In EVE, this approach works because the reward is proportional to the risk.
It leaves tension with an appropriate level of risk to make makihg worth it for the players putting all their wealth up for grabs without making death a certainty. Ma,ing never killed a Lava Dragon. I’ve never seen one. However, I’ve seen plenty of bitching about them and how they simply aren’t worth the risk. It doesn’t seem like they bring much more wealth with their special bones than any old dragon bone, and the rewards other than that are so infrequent that players won’t get them without generous blessings from the RNG gods.
More than that, it seems to me that the comparative size of the Runescape resource gathering areas in the Wildy are small, and relatively easy for people to pick off other players, while making it difficult for players to do anything that’s worth risking any sort of value. Now, trying to refrain from bias, do you think that Lava Dragons are worth it? Are PKers crowding all the worlds at the Lava Dragon spots, making it useless to go and kill them?
Or are players left with their dragons a good majority of the time? I’ve gone to lavas with trident and occult necklace. Keeping my mouse over the log out button and my eyes on the minimap it’s almost impossible to get PKed unless there’s lag. If you’re willing to keep your eyes glued to your minimap and be ready to logout while you’re dgagons, then yes, it’s worth it. Otherwise, no. As someone in that hops around Lava Dragons, I can assure you there’s money to be made all.
All of that could’ve been banked, and could’ve been profitable, but instead that person is going to complain about how it’s not worth it. You’re also not taking this into account — PKers are constantly fighting each other as well as «defenseless» people.
It’s not the EVE approach you’re talking about alone I don’t play EVE so I don’t know much about that since our ultimate goal is to find another PKer with a good risk and the dragon killers are just supplemental.
If Jagex was to buff the drop tables of the other monsters, or make them easier to kill then we’d reeddit it become far more active in terms of PKers and people there just for drops. It’s a win win for all depending how you go about it. Callisto was safe and active if you paid proper attention as are Lava Dragons, and gave everybody a good amount of PvP fun. If you make all that in 10 kills then it’s definitely worth it.
That or have a second account to trade to. That’s a ton of money and people lose it constantly. You won’t get that kind of loot in 10 kills. Ossrs probably have that much near the end of your trip when you’re about to go bank.
My point is that in order to avoid risking that much, you’d have to bank every 10 kills or so. Just be attentive towards the minimap, log for any white dogs. Just got my first elite clue from. Repeatedly banking after every 10 kills or so is not worth it. But yes, Lwva agree that using a mule account is a smart idea. It’s about making as much money as possible.

Literally only lvl 40s and an occasional pvmer inside. Can something be done with this?
